and local government and citizens.

  • (c) This section does not preclude any symbol from being valid as a
    signature under other applicable law, including Section 1.201(39),
    Business & Commerce Code.

   

• Texas Administrative Code §201.14 - Management of Electronic Transactions and Signed Records

   

  • Electronic signatures may be accomplished by several different
    technologies, such as Personal Identification Number (PIN), digital
    signatures, smart cards and biometrics. If additional
    technology-specific records management guidance is necessary, the
    Department of Information Resources will work with state agencies to
    develop it.
