SOUTH CAROLINA STATE LAWS AND GUIDELINES

South Carolina Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (2004 South Carolina H 4720)
- 'Electronic signature' means an electronic sound, symbol, or process attached to or logically associated with a record and executed or adopted by a person with the intent to sign the record.

South Carolina Electronic Commerce Act (1997 South Carolina Senate Bill 1167)
- 'Electronic signature' means any identifier or authentication technique attached to or logically associated with an electronic record that is intended by the party using it to have the same force and effect as a manual signature.
